I have tried your demo, and with PC and Windows7 Explorer9 is OK.
But with Safari 5.0.4 and Mac Leopard Snow Ctrl+Shift +2 don't work

If it helps anyone else

Ctrl+F2 for PC

and

Ctrl+Fn+F2 for MAC worked for me.
