There seems to be no way to make the contents shown within the editor's textarea in readonly mode so that it can be seen but not edited. Both the CKEdit and TinyMCE editors provide the ability to set a variable such as "readonly=true" or "readonly=false". Even adding the attribute "readonly=readonly" which works with a regular textarea, does not work with the textarea when it is used by the DMXZone editor. Replies

Unfortunately there is no such an option in the editor.
Actually why would you need a NON-Editable text editor? If you want to show a read only field you can use a text area OR just show the text on the page.
