The site we are using has a black background, so I created a simple style sheet to emulate the master style sheet..

@charset "UTF-8";
/* CSS Document */

body {
	color: #099;
	background-color: #000;
}

textarea {
	color:#099;
}

However, by default, I get black text on black. I tried using !important, but that did not work as well.

Suggestions?

There are options for default text and background color on the Advanced HTML Editor 3 dialog. Please use those to specify colors for the editor.

George

One interesting point...

I opted to change the background color to a charcoal grey (#555) and it works fine for editing the text... BUT when viewing HTML, it reverts to Black on Black.

that doesn't work.. the editor defaults in my case to the background image which is black and makes the editor useless??

Lately I have noticed that I am not managing to cope with the tasks planned for the day. I have tried different task planning apps, but for some reason they do not work. They are either too complicated or inconvenient to use. Recently I have started looking for simpler and more flexible options for daily planning. Maybe someone can advise how to better organize the workday so that I can manage everything and not get distracted by trifles?

I agree, finding the right planning system can be difficult. I’ve tried a variety of tools myself, from complex apps to simple notebooks. Personally, the best option for me was the simple approach of using ready-made templates for planning sheet. It allows you to structure your tasks for the day, while leaving room for flexibility. Plus, you’re not tied to any one app and can customize it to your liking.
