This question was discussed in our live chat, that's why someone forgot to answer it here also.
You can use the video player in responsive pages, by creating several different instances of it, for the different screen sizes. So you should just create 4 different containers for the 4 screen sizes (extra small, small, medium, large) and show each of them on the specific screen size, hiding it for the rest of the screen sizes.
This can be achieved using the "Display: Hidden" option in the bootstrap 3 inspector.
