I updated the HTML5 Video player to 1.0.5 and uploaded the changed js files to the server. Now the videos doesn't play at all in FF not IE. Chrome works. The error is that the file doesn't exist or is in the wrong format.

Do I need to redo the video files?

Yeah, they were originally converted with Miro and Handbrake following your instructions. We even communicated at that time because I used a different version of Miro I think and it didn't match your instructions.
Should I convert them again you think?

I see older versions of files in your hosting server.
Can you please delete the files from your local root in DW and hosting server:
ScriptLibrary/jquery-latest.pack.js
ScriptLibrary/projekktor.min.js
After that reapply the extension in order for them to be recreated with the present versions.
Upload the files on the hosting server.

Hi Jonas,
Seems your MP4 file is indeed not optimal enocded for IE9 and IE10...
I just reencoded it with Handbrake and it works fine with it.
Somehow your original MP4 had two audio streams, which is not needed.
I chose the default MP4 file encoding with Handbrake and it produced a good MP4 video file with with AAC video and AAC audio.
You can see the exact encodings with program like MediaInfo:

Hello Jonas.
I investigated the encoding differences in Handbrake newest version.
In the latest version of the Handbrake when you choose "Universal" that applies 2 audio streams which is causing the issue mentioned by George.
When you encode your videos don't select "Universal" leave the preset to Regular>Normal that will output the correct file needed for the player to work.
Regards:Vulcho.

Thank you that solved the problem for IE but I still get an error in FF.
Should I redo the video files in Miro as well?
In Miro I converted them with Theora and WebM.

Still doesn't work. Very strange.
I tried FF 18.0.1 in Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bits. It still says invalid file format.
Chrome, IE and Opera works.
Any other suggestions?

I tried to convert it again but to no success.
Which file did you download and test on?
Was it the_interview_optimized.mp4
That file is the one that I created in Handbreak using the default selection and not the Universal.
I will try the other converter above and let you know how it goes.
Thanks for all your help.

Can you make sure also your web server is providing the correct MIME type for videos?
Please contact your server administrator. The following article would be useful:
