I upgraded form Macromedia Dreamweaver to Adobe Dreamweaver CS3. The extension does not work with the CS3; keep on asking for Dreamweaver MX 2004 or greater! Maybe it's just me...?

It should actually work fine with CS3. Just make sure you have the latest Extension Manager for CS3 installed.
Get it from www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em18_download.html
Then install the extension again.
