Can't get html5 slide show to work. Followed instructs in tutorial and I get no images, only a black box. DReamweaver CS5, Mac OS 10.7.5

Probably your images are not uploaded on the hosting server.
Can you please provide me with link to the problem page, where the images are appearing as black blackboxes?

Can you please edit your DW preferences.
Select in the Code Format category for Line break type: CR LF (Windows). Take a look at the following screenshot for further information:



When you are done with the settings, please try to place the extension again on blank page.

I have same problem .
I controlled preferences, as in the screenshot.
I work on Mac OS 10.9.5 and DW CC 2014.1.
When I apply HTM 5 Slideshow in a blank page, everything is ok.
But as I appique my web page of my site, I have a black screen.
I do not know commen solve this problem.
