29 Dec 2011 00:15:57 Richard Julian posted:
Hi I have just upgraded to DW 5.5 from V4 and installed Lightbox latest version (1.0.12). Everything seems to function ok apart from when I click 'Lightbox Settings > Preset > Edit' from the initial configuration window or editing an existing Lightbox (Lightbox Link). This feature functions from the 'Manage Presets' button below though. It is workable but annoying - the error that pops up is in the screen grab below:(Mac OS 10.6.4)
Any suggestions or reason why this is happening and how it may be resolved? many thanks.

Hi Vulcho - thanks for the tip - I have already tried the cach solution and reinstalling the extension - I still get the error from the same button. I can still work round this as all other functions seem to be fine - it is just annoying. If you have any further suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Richard Julian.
This is probably is some bug in DW after the upgrade.
Please try the following:
Recreating the Configuration folder of your dreamweaver will probably fix your issue.
That will be done if you go to this location:
and rename the Configuration folder. Restart DW afterwards.
You will need to install all pf your extensions anew!

Hi followed your instructions, DW has re-created the configuration files, I have then reinstalled extensions - same error window pops up.

Hi Vulcho - it applies to all the presets including the defaults as supplied. If I try to edit an existing light box as used on my website www.futurecolour.co.uk 'our work' page for instance (preset modified by me), or create an all new blank project and create an all new lightbox link on a blank html page and choose a default preset. As soon as the DMX panel opens if I click on the 'edit' button the error pops up for any preset. As mentioned before if I go to 'manage presets' at the bottom of the panel that still allows me to edit the settings normally.
The screenshot on my original post shows this - it is the same error everytime.
Just to confirm the error pops up when I try to edit a preset, not after - I cannot get that far.

Hello Richard,
Unfortunately we are not able to recreate this on our machines.
It seems your DW installation is corrupted.
