Hey George/Miro I just updated to the newest version of Lightbox and when I try and edit a show created with a previous version, nothing happens. I do find Lightbox under Windows -> Lightbox and clicking on that will display the slides list as normal......I click on Settings and nothing. I uninstalled the extension and reinstalled it and the same. I did notice that installing the extension both times, there was no files downloaded from the web like there are with a normal uupdate/installation (don't know if that is relevant or not). I am running under DW CS5. Ideas? Replies

Hello Mike,
Could you, please, clean your Dw cache file and try out again to edit a gallery through the DMXzone Lightbox panel. Also try setting up new gallery ( just for test ) with the new version and see if it works there.

Hey Miro - how's it going? I deleted the WinFileCache.dat file and went back to the page that I was editing and still nothing - I did get the Lightbox panel but clicking on Settings did nothing for any of the listed slides - so I created a new page and tried to add the Lightbox to the page - nothing also ------ I got no indication that Lightbox loaded - also if I selected Insert -> DMXZone from the menu - Lightbox isn't even listed but if I go to the Insert Panel it is listed on the DMXZone tab but does not insert a new Lightbox gallery - no interface appears.

Hello Mike,
That is quite strange I have to admit. Will you be so kind of reinstalling the extension according the sequence found in this FAQ: www.dmxzone.com/go?17354
Be sure to clean the cache after uninstalling the currently installed version.

Didn't work - I did each step. When I reached step 6 and restarted DW the installation processs DID NOT trigger, so I immediately closed DW and deleted the cache file again and it still did not trigger.
So I loaded a page with a Lightbox and clicking on the Settings did nothing.
So the common thing, I think is that the installation process did not trigger, I mentioned that in my initial post but I didn't know if it was significant.

Hello Mike,
Installation Wizard that appears after restarting the Dw copies files to their default locations.
So in order to get things working check following FAQ:
