Multiple years of posts do not provide a resolution to the issue of the Clng error on Line 890 of the Excel writer script. Here's what I get...and I just bought this extension:

All fields being exported are text fields and are specified as such on the Advanced tab. Though I have several 12 character fields that appear to be numeric and may be the source of the problem, the script needs to NOT interpret these as numbers.

I read through all of the previous posts on this issue and though it was marked as resolved, I can find no resolution. Please provide.

Though I did find a solution mentioned (replace CLng with CDbl) and it does eliminate the overflow error, I should NOT have to modify the code of extensions I purchase. This is just not in keeping with what I have come to expect from DMX Zone over the years...
