Hello,

I'm having trouble using the Behavior on a simple text link. I apply the Behavior and then the script files copy to the local site (if required)then I get this error on my screen 2 times.

"While executing onLoad in dmxUpdateHead.htm, a JavaScript error occurred."

After the error it does make changes to the page but the link is not functional in IE or Chrome.

I'm using DW8 on Vista. I have re-install the extension, deleted the DW cache (WinFileCache-7A9586CB.dat)and the site cache as well. I have the latest extension manager for V8 and the latest DW8 patches. I have no templates on my site and I'm working with a simple table and a single link.

Does anyone have any idea why I get this error?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I installed the patch you sent me and that fixed the Java error!

However, I now have a new error see below. I also sent you an email about this...

Hi Teodor,

Thanks, I sent you an email today at 10:18 am local time in Chicago. I included my Script folder so you can see what folders are created during the component placement on the page.

The "includes" folder is never created from what I can see. I sent you and email on 11/11/2010 and also mentioned how this folder is never created.

I have used your components for many years and never had so much trouble. Most of the time I check the Forum and get all the help I need very quickly.

Is it possible my configuration for some reason is not compatible with the script in this component?

I would recommend your site and components to anyone. Recently I needed a few components from other developers and it was very noticeable how many other developers just make a component with no real way to remove the component code and no real support other than a simple example.

I'm spoiled with your commitment to a polished product!!!

I am trying to add a link excel so i can click and download but when i apply the server behaviour there is no drop down with the name of the table io created, as it says on the tutorial on the pdf. Please help.

To set up a link to export an Excel document you need to apply not the Server Behavior, but from TAG INSPECTOR -> Behaviors-> Add new -> DMXzone -> Universal Data Exporter ASP
