The History of RedbreastRedbreast Irish Whiskey is a product of the Midleton Distillery in Cork, Ireland. It was first produced in the early 1900s, and it’s named for the red breast of the robin–a bird that lives on an island off Ireland’s coast.
Redbreast is made using pot stills (which are small copper pots), which allow for more flavor than column stills do. This method also produces less alcohol than column distillation does, which gives Redbreast its distinctive taste and makes it easier to drink neat or on ice without getting sick from too much alcohol content
How to Drink Redbreast
Redbreast Irish whiskey is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but it can also be used in cocktails. As with any good whiskey, it’s important to savor and enjoy each sip slowly–a good whiskey is meant to be savored.
For those who prefer their spirits neat, Redbreast makes for a fine choice. If you’re looking for something more adventurous than simply sipping your whiskey straight up, try adding ice cubes or water (the latter will bring out more of the grainy flavors). You can even mix Redbreast with another spirit like rum or cognac!

In fact, it's a matter of taste, it's always very individual. Personally, I have always liked alcohol with ice better. It does not dilute the taste at all, but even makes it brighter and more expressive. In addition, thanks to the icepress sphere https://bftech.pro/catalog/icepress/sphere/ , you can make serving drinks much more interesting
