Just stopped working

I have had a UDE behaviour on a page for well over a year and it has simply stopped working.No error message, it just creates an empty .xls file.
The behaviour is connected to a click event and references a table of data on the page.
Have some of the newer extensions interfered with old ones? I have the lastest v 1.1.4 installed.
