Hello Andre.
Can you describe your idea a little bit more detailed ? what you mean by "external"? A form which is on the same page with the datagrid ?

Hi Vulcho
Yes. I'd like to place a form over the grid (on the same page) where the user can set some values to filter the data.

Hello Andre.
Unfortunately such functionality can't be achieved.
You can use the built in search and filtering functionality instead. It is located under "Content" Tab in the user interface of the product.
You can also enable the built in search bar to be open by clicking on Initially Show Search Bar in "Details" Tab.

Hi Vulcho. Thx for your reply.
It would at least be good to have a search field for each column in order to enter multiple search words.

Hello Andre.
When you go to "Content" Tab in the user interface of the extension and you select any of the grid columns you will see in the right bottom corner the checkbox called "Searchable".
If you mark the checkbox you will include the search functionality for the selected column. After that the columns will be available to search through dropdown menu in the browser.

I know Vulcho, but my customer wants multiple search fields in a separate form above the table.
