This happens now on any of the plugins...
I also have the web asisst super suit installed, have un installed the dmx plug ins but still have the same issue.
No matter where I try to open the behaviour connector crashes DW.
Any ides?

Did you tried to clear your DW cache ?

yup thats one of Web assists nightmares, so first thing I did just in case.

Can you please provide a little more detailed information - what is your DW version, OS and step by step actions to reproduce your issue?

So windows 7 64bit, DW CS5.5 with latest updates.

Basicly happens when or where ever I try to open the behaviour connector, so no matter which of the plug ins I open and want to add a behaviour it crashes DW.
Not really much to it to be honest, I have tried to open the behaviour as a test on different pages I have open and the same happens, just crashes, no error message nothing.

I figure its best I remove all plug-ins and try from fresh, but dam they take ages to install, and not sure if you know the web assist, but they a pain to get installed in a good order, Just that I do them also.
So really am hoping for a better solution than that.

I have tried to un install and reinstall all DMX plug-ins with no success, same happens when i try to open the connector, with either the lightbox, grid, gallery or calendar plugin.

so in the last 6 days I have uninstalled all DMX and other extensions that I have (not the webassist ones), now I have the connector open without crashing DW, how ever I have no available connections/options displayed. When I go to close the behaviour connector it then crashes DW.

So not much has changed other than a delay.

No suggesitons or ideas ont his one?

The cache is the first thing I delete just about each time I restart DW, with no success.

Please a solution............. or something else to try??

Hello Jamie,

Recreating the Configuration folder of your dreamweaver will probably fix your issue.
That will be done if you go to this location:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5.5\<language>\Configuration
and rename the Configuration folder. Restart DW afterwards.
You will need to install all pf your extensions anew!

Hi there

I have just completed a reinstall of my entire system including windows as I figured it needed it.
So all plugins have of course also been re-installed, and I have the same issue.

Is there a list of plugins that are not compatible with the dmx ones? that could possibly be the cause?

I have also installed my old version of DWCS4 so hopefully I can get it working right there and will just switch between the two for the time being, lets see how that works out...

any other ideas please am getting a little tired of this now and need them working...

Can i ask you to help us a little bit more to troubleshoot your issue? Can you install only the DMXZone extensions , and if everything is working fine , to begin to install the extensions from other software vendors one by one , and test our behavior connector, till you receive again that crash issue?

Ok have the connector working in CS5 without any other extensions.

I still have the issue however with cs5.5 with all my other extensions, here a list of the ones I have installed just FYI:

Webassist super suit - all of them!
Lorum and more - David Powers
The currnt DMX extensions that I have purchased
Breadcrumbs - Paul Davis
Count Up - Paul Davis
Compare Data entries - Paul Davis
htaccess Generator - Steffen Lorenz - Lupin3000

I need to catch up with some of the work Im now delayed on due to my reinstall (takes me 3 days for a clean install with all my apps and config)

Hi, i have the same problem for several months and i just quit to solve the problem. I simple install the webassit extensions on my dreamweaver cs5 and all the others on dreamweaver cs5.5. It's the only way to get it working. It's some kind of conflict.

this is something with that webassist extension. i had that error, too. when i deinstall all WA extensions all works fine. in my case its the security assist extensions that makes the behavior connector crash.
I tried and error the installation of the WA extensions.
install one, check the behavior connector, then do the next.

Go inside the Configuration/Behaviors/Actions folder and move the Validation Toolkit folder out and up one level. See if that resolves the crash. It did for me.

I have exactly the same problem! When trying to open the behavior connector DW crashes. After moving the Form Toolkit folder up one folder all works again.

It has to be a conflict with this one. Any solutions already???
