The grid works fine.
But we miss a very important functionality:

Insert - update - delete posibilities!!! []

Is this possible in future releases.

Add my vote to having Edit capabilities.
I purchased the Grid at launch but have never used it in anger due to this one omission.
Being able to Update/Insert/Delete would make all the difference and I'd be happy to pay a reasonable upgrade fee for a v2 of this.

Add my vote for this feature request. Display only grids have very limited uses. I too have not used this product after purchasing it because it's very disconnected to have a wonderful ajax grid UI and a totally seperate UI for add/edit/delete functions.

You can currently use Advanced tooltips or DMXzone Lightbox with update/insert/delete record behaviors inside in order to achieve this.

That's why there are Cell and Row behaviors in Ajax Datagrid.

Hi i'm using advanced layer popup to load the form page with insert behavior added to it but i can't get the AJAX grid refreshed or page refreshed after every insert.

I tried your suggestion from another post to add the re-direct page to the insert behavior but then my page with the grid gets loaded in the layer popup window instead of refreshing the current grid / page from where the popup is called.

Any suggestions?

I would not use tool tips. Instead I'd use light box then redirect it to a page that calls the function to close light box from within light box. Then I would add the code on your page with the data grid that has the grid refreshing at regular intervals. Maybe that's a wrong way to do it. But that's my solution.

I kindly ask Teodor Kuduschiev if it's possible to place a demo/tutorial with this function ... i think everybody will apreciate.

I'm not using Advanced Tooltips for this, i'm using Advanced Layer Popup.
I'm also using some webassist extension (Framework builder) and used the template Theming function to create my new pages. For some reason if i use the DMXzone Lightbox it will give some warning messages about some translators or something locking (maybe because of the template issue) This causes my lightbox not to show and function correctly.

I will try the lightbox on some blanc page first to see if that works, however it the ALP does work nicely, just need a way to refresh the origin page. I don't want to use the automatic refresh function as described in the video as this keeps refreshing the grid unnecessarily.

Will wait for the tutorial.

The edit and delete columns are generate by corresponding fields and values defined in the database table?

Is there no other way to add custom columns?

This is the easiest way to have those custom columns there. You can add them in the grid code by hand-coding BUT they will disappear each time you edit the grid.
