I went through the usual steps with installation and got no error messages. Re-started DW5.5 but there is no sign of the new extension - either in the Insert area, nor among the Server Behaviors. All my other DMXZone extensions are there - but not this one. I tried removing/reloading. Did not help.

As it is described in the manual - the extension is a behavior. So you should look for it inside the panel called Behaviors > + > DMXzone > Show/Hide Advanced Tooltips.

Ah, I found it. Very different from your other products. Now I am trying to get it to work. Can I attach a tooltip just to a word of text - which is not set as a link? When I tried - the whole line reacted. Do I need to enclose the text in a tag of some sort?

You can wrap your word inside a span tag and apply the tooltip to the span.
