most of my zxp files wont install in CC...CC extension manager gives error "failed to update database, extension will not be installed"...happens at end of install procedure

I also have this problem and also a problem that the extensions take a very long time to install. The progress bar gets to about 50% and then stops for a long period from a few minutes up to an hour or so.
