Entering text from the GUI will not work

I'm running Dreamweaver CS4 on OSX 10.5.8. When I enter text into the text field, no matter what I do, it will not enter it into the actual code after hitting the OK button. I have to go in an manually make changes to the code to get what I want. This is a bit annoying. Replies
