Advanced multi uploader - how do I upload multiple files, resize them, then insert them into a database as individual entries? Is this possible, and if so, is there either a tutorial, or can someone explain what I need to do to accomplish this. thank you!

Ok, sorry for all the questions - I love dmxzone products, and I will continue to buy them. Ok, so here's my delema - I have an existing database that I currently insert images into - I use the pure asp upload and it works great. However, when I use the advanced multi uploader, I don't know what to do with the insert record. In the tutorial it shows different fields - how can I use the uploader with an existing database? Right now, when I insert record, it shows the "get values from" uploadqueue - as this: Filedata <ignore>

but the problem is, I normally have an image title, a caption, a category, and of course the image. Does the multi uploader do all that? please help, I really want to make this work. thank you again.

can someone read my last reply - I still cannot use the extension, I just want to be able to upload multiple files, have them inserted to an access data base, resize, and watermark them. I currently upload one file at a time, and in doing so, the user can specify a title, description, and a category before uploading the image. I'd like to be able to do all of that but with multiple images - is this possible? thank you in advance!

Hello Duffy,

Using Advanced Multi Uploader with Smart Image processor you can:
- Upload, resize and watermark your images
- Store their names into a database

You can't:
- Specify description, and a category for EACH of the images as when uploading single images.
