Hi everyone! Last week, we experienced a power outage that lasted nearly a day, and it completely disrupted my home office setup. Even my router was down because it wasn’t connected to a backup power source. Has anyone found a way to keep their network running during such situations? Replies

I had the same problem a while back. I now use a UPS for both my computer and networking equipment. To maintain stable connectivity over extended distances, it’s also worth checking out Enable-IT ethernet extender and poe extender uses. These devices can be part of a robust network setup, even during power disruptions, if paired with a reliable backup power source.

I’ve heard that mobile hotspots can be a decent temporary solution during outages. They’re not ideal for heavy usage, but they can save you in critical moments when the primary network is down.
