To truly capture the essence of a traditional bathroom, consider incorporating classic elements like clawfoot bathtubs, pedestal sinks, and subway tiles. Using natural materials such as marble or stone can also add to the timeless appeal. For your tile work, I highly recommend using Dream House Tile https://dreamhousetile.ca/ . They provide a professional tile installation service in Toronto and the GTA. They excel in precision and attention to detail, which is crucial when aiming for that traditional charm. Recently, they installed Carrara marble tiles in a herringbone pattern for a client’s bathroom, which perfectly complemented the vintage fixtures, enhancing the overall elegance and period feel of the space. Dream House Tile's craftsmanship can help you achieve a beautifully authentic traditional bathroom.

Thanks, that’s really helpful! I hadn’t thought about wainscoting, but it sounds like a great idea. Do you have any specific brands or stores you recommend for fixtures and sinks?

Absolutely! For sinks, you might want to check out AM Good Supply. They have a great selection of Commercial Sinks that are high-quality and have that classic look you’re going for. Here's a link to their site: www.amgoodsupply.com/commercial-sinks/. Even though they’re designed for commercial use, their stainless steel options are elegant and durable, which can work really well in a home bathroom too. As for fixtures, I’ve had good experiences with Kohler and Delta—both offer a wide range of traditional styles. Good luck with your renovation!

Thank you for the plumbing recommendation, I just started renovating my apartment. Is there a qualified team that can help me better shape my bathroom and install everything according to the design?

Having bought the apartment, I wanted to immediately make a quality renovation that would be comfortable for me. First of all, it had to be the bathroom. The team ag-renovations.co.uk/ helped me with this, both in developing the project. And with the choice of plumbing, furniture and subsequent installation of everything. Now, living in this apartment, I am thinking of making a renovation in the kitchen and will work with them.
