Hi I need to know if SIP PHP2 will process 3 sizes of images. I need to keep the original image size for detail pop-ups, a scaled down version for general display and a thumbnail for navigation. Can this be done?
Looking to upgrade if 2 will do it.
thanks,
bb

Hi Benjamin,
Actually you can do that.
Simply input two times Smart Image Processor PHP and set your Destination options to Create new. Of course you will need to change their paths - for example the first one could be "##path##thumb_##name##.jpg" and for the resized one "##path##thumbResized_##name##.jpg".

Actually, I'm not using SIP PHP2, I'm using 1.0.5. with PPHPU 2.1.3. Will I have to upgrade to do this?
Thanks,
Bb

Hi Benjamin,
It should work.
However, you might experience issues uploading images if you are using PHP5. Here you can find a comprehensive FAQ to workaround this issue: www.dmxzone.com/showDetail.asp?TypeId=7&NewsId=14035

I have just upgraded to version 2 of SIPP and can confirm that this approach does work well for creating 3 different sizes.
Thanks for your input on this.
