Hi,

I've specified a filesize of 500KB for my uploads (I'm using Pure ASP Upload 3 and Dreamweaver Update Record) but if I try to upload a file larger than 500KB I just see a stark white page with the following message:

Upload Error
(7) The file 'xxxxx.jpg' with a size of 704kB exceeds the limit of 500kB.

If I then try to click back I get a "web page expired" message and when I finally get back to the page all the other data I entered has vanished and I have to start all over again.

Can the filesize error not be in a javascript alert on the client-side so that my users won't lose all their other entered data - or if the check must be server-side cannot it simply ignore that particular upload that is too large (I have three uploads on one page) and continue to update the database with the other data and upload the other files, maybe also pass a querystring variable if this occurs so that I could display a suitable message ("your file was not uploaded as it exceed 500KB's"
