I have used this extension many times with no problem but I'm working on a site now that already has 2 slide shows but when I try to create more, I go through the whole set up, click okay and then get the error message: "failed to copy slideshowpro.swf" - then the extension closes and my work is lost. There is no slide show.

Is there a limitation on the number of slide shows?

I've closed down Dreamweaver (CS3) and restarted it. I've shut down my computer and restarted it all to no avail!

Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

There is no limitation on the number of slideshows.
Possible problems can be:

* Dreamweaver does not have enough right to your site folder to copy slideshowpro.swf
* slideshowpro.swf exists but is somehow read only maybe?
* slideshowpro.swf is checkout or locked? If you use some version control options in DW

So something like this can cause the error you see.
