The ease of communication between Flash and PHP is (in my opinion) very under-explored. I hope that this tutorial serves to prod enquiring minds into exploring these possibilities further.

I got this form installed after about 20 minutes.. If you open it, and your movie at the same time, and also Notepad.. you can edit the .php file, and everything very simply.. then cut and paste the file into your .fla..

I forgot to tell you that the download btn will change to an invisable link,,,

so... open your eyes well,, and try to find the link,, I think that Japanes will not be able to find the link.. it needs big eyes..

Finding the download button far surpasses the difficulty of the understanding of the script.

Its like you deserve to have it if you can find it. Not just given to you in a golden platter.

I tried following everything but no go on the emailing.  I need to add cgryche@yahoo.com for the email.  Can you give me a example on were to add it within php or the flash file?

everything works except the email part .I do not recieve the senders email. what am I doing wrong?

I applied everything, and have read over and over and i dont think i have missed anything but when the mail is sent from the website, everything appears to be ok at this stage but when i check my email i only get an email with my email address on it and "My web site" on top of my email address, what i am missing is the text or body of the mail, it doesnt come through.

Can any one help me please.

i cant see the sender's mail! so i cant reply....

I had the same problem as the people in one of the first posts.
I would get a blank e-mail that irritated me so I searched for a solution and i finally got it!

Put the text below at the beginning of your PHP file and it will be fixed :D

$name = $_POST['name'];
$email = $_POST['email'];
$subject = $_POST['subject'];
$message = $_POST['message'];

Hi guys!  I've been shooting myself in the foot hear for what I'm embarrassed to say has been hours...and I came across this tutorial which seemed like it should work like a charm, but I've 2 standing issues w/it:

#1 - With empty / blank fields, the submit still goes to the next frame in the .FLA file ('thank you' message).

#2 - Even w/a completed form, I don't get an email of anykind, blank or otherwise (which may theoretically have something to do w/ #1 issue above)...

Any help you guys could provide would be GREATLY GREATLY appreciated.
