Site Map generator for Dreamweaver MX
This is a request, the extension is not there, yet.

I couldn't agree more. Clearly, Dreamweaver maintains this information. Little FrontPage, with all its limitations, can do this, so I'd think that Dreamweaver, with all its power, could.
However, a lot of us use Flash menus that allow access to nearly all the pages in the site from every page, so the site map that Dreamweaver builds isn't all that useful. It would be great to have something like FrontPage's Navigation window, where you could build your own navigation scheme graphically and, then, have Dreamweaver build the site map from that. (I know, dream on...) That way, you could choose to suppress the display of pages on the site map and generally organize it the way you wanted.
I just got finished building a site map for a fairly large, complex site, and believe me, an extension like this would be worth its weight in gold.
"Where is it" is a great question. However your solution leaves a lot to be desired. I think there is serious interest in this very productive feature. I would much rather have a solution to this than some of the wizbang page fade flashy dohicky nonsense extensions that people have created. I am not a programer of any kind and do not know how to modify DW or make extensions otherwise I would do it myself. Since the level of difficulty may be more than I imagined I will give you two dollars to make it work. Dont be so quick to dismiss Anthony. Lets work together to find a solution.
Sorry, but I cannot find where the answer to this question is located, please can you help. thanks

I can't believe DW doesn't have this built in...I have a site with over 200 pages and to drag and drop is silly. On a small site it wouldn't be necessary...c'mom DW get it together!
