Apply Template to A Single Folder and it's Contents

I need an Extension that would apply a template to an entire DIRECTORY. Each page that I am converting to templates (as the whole site isn't using templates yet), I would just be importing the Body into the Editable Body Section in my Template. It's usually just text and graphics, no tables.. it all may be in one table, but that's the most.

If I can go do it by hand over and over. There must be a way to automate this. I read somewhere that would be a major pain, because it could mess up the whole directory or whatever. I have just duplicated and backup the directory, so I am willing to take that risk on sample site.

Any help is greatly appreciated (I have about 2,000 pages to convert!)
