I'm searching, how to create a PHP whois search engine in dreamweaver. The search engine must be able to choose multiple extentions like .com, .net, .info, .org ...etc. If the domain name is taken a pop up shows the whois information about the registrar and the user can click on a link to visit the page. If not taken, a link must inform the user that the domain is available and can be buy and redirect to a purchase page.

I need a tutorial that will show me how to make a link in a datafield live. I want to use textfields to display URLs and email addresses which are in a database field as live links instead of plain text, preferably opening in a new page. I have through half a dozen books and have posted on two forums without locating the infomation.
