I would like to show a welcome message to logged on users but a different message to those who have not yet logged on. I am hoping i can do this from within the template but so far i haven't got it to work

Read MoreI'm trying to find a tutorial that will let me create a web page that will have a bunch of pdf files on it. there are about 300 pdf files on various topics.I would like to create a search page so that you could type in a few key words and a results page would be displayed with a short description of what the pdf is about and a link option to download the pdf file. is this hard to do. I put a message on the dreamweaver forum and someone said that if I have all my pdf files in one area that the search will search all the pdf files becauser they are supertext. Is it just searching the title of the file or is it truly searching the whole file? any way if some one knows of a tutorial that would tell me how to do this that would be cool and the help would be muchly appreciated.

Can someone explain to me in easy terms the main differences, benefits of changing to asp etc.
