Computer sellers have scaled back their expectations of the sales pop they'll get from Windows 8 this year. The company announced its move yesterday, saying that the official V.me launch accompanies deals Visa has signed with over 50 financial institutions that will support the platform. Windows 8 will have sole custody of DirectX 11.1, according to a Microsoft engineer.
