Are we all praying at the alter of CSS?

content and layout must be separate, 100% CSS layout, no tables
I use CSS as much as possible, but jeez those tables are handy
CSS is just for fonts isn't it?
I can skin a site with tables and CSS, no problem
Whatever is easiest and quickest!
The odd table here and there halves my development time

What's CSS?

Show Results CSS evangelists rage about the purity of CSS. Verily it was written, content and layout shall not mix. CSS debates rage online about the purity of CSS. Should we be separating layout from content? Is 'table' now a dirty word? Should tables only be be used for 'tabular data'? Or......wait for it........Can we use them both, CSS & tables, mixing and matching as we see fit?
