Macromedia Flash Detection Kit

The Macromedia Flash Detection Kit is a combination of software and techniques that enables web developers to deploy content created with Macromedia Flash software in such a way as to make the viewer's experience seamless.

Includes a DW Extension, HTML & Flash code.

Note: The functionality in the Flash Detection Kit has also been incorporated into Flash MX 2004 and Flash MX Professional 2004 products.

Macromedia Dreamweaver Behavior: This Macromedia Dreamweaver Behavior easily implements a Macromedia Flash Detection scenario. The behavior is normally applied to a web page that appears before any Macromedia Flash content is displayed on your site. The code applied by the behavior will redirect the user to the appropriate page, based on decisions specified here in the behavior.

Example Files: In addition to the Dreamweaver Behavior, there are three example files with source code included in the Macromedia Flash Detection Kit. Each example is designed for different approaches to using the kit such as ActionScript and HTML. These include:
