How to create a message board and have it working, a-z please

I would like to build a message board in dreamweaver MX. I never experience or try to build one before, so it is going to be great if you can be slow on me.

If you mean a web forum, I doubt you want to "remake the wheel," so you might want to check into forums available on SourceForge.net, there are many message boards/forums, for ASP/.NET or CFML or PHP or JAVA, etc.

I agree there are sooo many out there and plenty of good free ones that I would recommend trying to come up with something else if you are looking to learn "how to do it" in general. Make something that you will be able to utilize on your site at the same time.
