Site Search Facility
Request - An extension that helps the user create a site search facility. I don't know much about what is involved so it might be too complicated, but it would be great if there were an extension that helped the user set up a site search facility (using PHP and MySQL). Maybe such an extension already exists? I'd love to know about it if it does.

Yes, at least two DW extensions that would help a lot
DRK vol.4 has a simple search for DW MX+. It works for ASP, CFM, and PHP. DRK vol.5 has an advanced search, most likely also for ASP, CFM, PHP.
Also, WebAssist has a Google search extension that's free, and it should allow searching of your site but I don't think it can get deep into your data like I'm assuming you'd like your search to be.
