DLL with File Genie for the reading of Office Attributes

I would like to install and register the .dll that comes with File Genie. I've been asked by my system administrator, however, to find out if the .dll will replace any existing .dlls or affect any programs or services running on Windows 2000 with IIS 5 or Windows 2003 running IIS6.
