How do I format database output into paragraphs?

I followed the tutorial on Simple CMS and everything is working fine. However, my article is displayed as a long solid block of text making it unreadable. How do I apply formatting to convert line breaks in the original database input into paragraphs on the asp output? I realise purchasing Advanced HTML may be an answer but I really can't afford yet another $149 on yet another piece of software I may only ever use once!

I'm a registerd user and I have a problem reading a tutorial, an abstract apears but not a complete one, what shall i do to fix this problem? the tutorial that I tryed to read was (How do I format database output into paragraphs?)
