One of the best ways to find tutorials is go to Amazon and do a search on MX 2004 and you will find many books on the subject. This is what I did and found some great info there and helped me out a lot. Also, do a Google search on the same thing. This is how I found this website and there are others that have great refereneces on the subject. Yes go to Macromedia and see what they have as well. I hope this has been helpful.

Don't forget that on DMXzone, we have tutorials specially written for newcomers to DMX 2004 that teach the modern, standards-based coding techniques, by Molly Holzschlag. The series (which is still continuing) is called Cornerstones of Dreamweaver Design.

The description is here: "Are you just beginning to work with Dreamweaver as a pro tool, or even fairly new to web design? This series will take you right from the very start of using Dreamweaver through to using it in more complicated ways, with a no-nonsense, step-by-step, practical perspective.

Our author, Molly Holzschlag, has years of experience as a programmer, educator, public speaker and author, combining a down-to-earth, fun style with powerful techniques and knowledge."

Jim,

While I don't mind searching for reference materials, I find saving time is a key issue.   Focusing only on materials that are reviewed and recommended by peers is what I recommend over a more 'generic' approach.  Book reviews or recommendations from others are extremely helpful (see msg posted by Bruce Lawson).
