Keep on using font tags?

Is the font tag deprecated? Do you see it going away any time soon?

We spent countless hours trying to get rid of our font tags and use CSS instead. Very frustrating to find out that we didn't really need to.

well font tags still can be used - but it is not recomended indeed because of the managebility. When you use CSS styles you can always change the look of the style without the need to change all the html tags.

Thats why we offer the font cleaning tool as icon in the adv html editor toolbar - to get rid of all those fonts tags.

You can disallow the fonts selection from the toolbar and allow only CSS selections - so that users do not have a chance to mess things up but only select from valid css styles.
