Apply template to file

Hi, I have a problem with template.

Hi, I have a problem with template. When I create a new file and apply a template to this, dreamweaver add a line like this '' before the tag Head.

I wold put this line after this tag, but when I modify the template, dreamweaver don't permit this.

Can I apply the template to the new file and insert this line after head tag?

I am not positive about the asp model you are using but in straight HTML templates in Dreamweaver you will have to basically insert what content you created into a new page created using the template you have just created. When creating the template you should have made an editable region where you want content to go. That is where you will insert your content.

If you should update this template later you will have to update all pages using this template using the menu functions.

You might be able to apply the template to a new file if you do not have external objects that would reside outside of the "Editable Regions" you created in the templates. When applying the template it will ask you about information you have in the page and where aka in what region you want to insert it or if you want to loose it.
