What is the difference between embedding and not embedding images?
Question:
When sending HTML I can choose between embedding the images or not embed images? What is the difference between them? Answer:
Embedding images means that images that are included with the mail are being send with the mail. An advantage is that users can read the mail offline and still see the images, but a disadvantage is that the mail can become quite large.
When you choose to not embed the images, the images will be pulled from the internet. You have to make sure the images are present, but the mail is significantly smaller. Especially when you send bulk mail (like our newsletter) this is the way to go.
