I would like an extension that would allow me to insert details into two tables, at the moment in Dreamweaver one is restricted to inserting into one table.
Use George Petrov's Insert Record with Ident. This retrieves the identity seed which you can then use to insert into multiple tables. There is a chapter in the "Joy of Dreamweave MX" That explains how to accomplish this.
Ok I found a brilliant extension to insert/update/delete into/from multi tables. it is the impAKT extension from http://www.interaktonline.com/products/ImpAKT/ , at present it is only for PHP users, but by mid september 2004 the extension will be upgraded to impAKT2, and this will support ASP as well as PHP. I have been lucky enought to be allowed to test the beta for the impAKT2 and I cannot express how brilliant it is. I feel that there impAKT2 extension has made dreamweaver into what seems like MX 2010. I can now insert/update/delete into multi tables with great ease and in just a few minutes.

ok I purchased an extension to do this.
the dataAssist extension from webassist allows insert into one or more tables very simply to use.
