Kill session on Go Back/Refresh
Kills active session if a client trys to use their browser's back button or refresh button.
There are situations in which it would be useful to kill the active session if a client attempted to use their back button, or refresh button.
I myself, have designed an application where a user can upload a file, and is then directed to a confirmation page that actually does the work of putting the file on the server. On the same confirmation page, I have a stored command that updates the user's record in the database confirming the status of their upload (yes or no) in a field called UploadStatus. This way, the user has a choice to upload or not, and a field is created that can be used as a variable in the users and admin areas of the application. This update happens on the load of the confirmation page.
If that user were to use his/her back button to the previous page with the file field, and then not select a file, there would be a conflict (file would have been uploaded/status would say No) and vice versa.
If the session were killed on back, it would prevent this.
There are many other reasons why you may want to kill a session on back or refresh.
The extension would have some options:
-
On Back and/or On Refresh (by way of checkboxes).
-
Redirect to another page if refresh and/or go back.

Can this be done?
Does anyone have the ability to build this extension.
If so please contact me with details.
