As we mentioned yesterday, we have a greatly improved version of our DMXzone Server Connect. It comes with a handful of new features. The full list is available in the history tab on it's product page, but let's have a look at the highlights. Probably one of the greatest new things is the new server actions dialog. Now, server actions can be edited and selected directly from the server action dialog. In addition, the new server data executor is also used as data source on its own. Our developers added options for auto-running server action executors on DOM ready, page load and/or on form submit.
If you have websites, created with older versions of HTML5 Data Bindings don't be afraid, they will remain fully functional. If you have created Database Data Sources for HTML5 Data Bindings they will still work but the new way of connecting to server data is through the new Server Action Executor coming from DMXzone Server Connect (see image).

In order to make working with the newly improved DMXzone Server Connect easier, we have brand new video tutorials, which will show you the entire process of connecting to a database and displaying its data, how to create details page, filtered by an URL parameter, creating a page query and more. So make sure to watch these before you start working with the latest version of DMXzone Server Connect.
What's New in DMXzone Server Connect 1.1.0 (Highlights):
- New Server Actions Manager dialog. Now Server Actions can be edited
and selected directly from the Server Action Executor dialog.
- Full compatibility with the latest HTML5 Data Bindings 1.9.0. The Server Action Executors output can be used as data source.
- Support for syncing of form validation for the new, upcoming HTML5 Form Validator
- All files are now filtered by server model so you see only the server actions/connections for the selected model
- New Server Action Executor can be used as Data Source on its own
- New auto refresh options per input field! Now you can auto refresh the dataset when one of its input fields changes value!
- New options for auto running Server Action Executors on DOM Ready, Page Load and/or Form Submit
- Method can be defined GET or POST
- Custom paging can be done together with the Paged Query action of the DMXzone Database Connector
