This year we released a number of great Dreamweaver tools but there's a list we're particularly proud of. Below you'll find our most downloaded and used database extensions this year, which brought the server side workflow to the next level. HTML5 Data Bindings marked the beginning of the interactive, data driven dynamic web sites and apps, and the rest is just history. Announced at the annual Adobe MAX conference, it set foot for a number of amazing Dreamweaver extensions that followed.
In an effort to enhance all our Database extensions we developed DMXzone Server Connect, which brought the next generation server side programming without coding. It provides a full visual workflow builder for server side workflows and many ready to go server actions. Needless to say it's the replacement for the old, deprecated Dreamweaver Server Behaviors.
Probably one of the most anticipated extensions in the last few years. DMXzone Database Connector PHP/ASP is what you need to access to any well known database without any SQL and PHP or ASP knowledge in Dreamweaver. It offers visual tools and server code generation via its built-in connection wizard, where you can define and manage your connections.
One of the most expected extensions for 2015 made its official appearance in October and since then it's been one of our most used tools ever. HTML5 File Upload offered advanced file upload through Ajax, multiple file upload, storing file info and client side image preview. Its compatibility with the other database tools allowed storing of file names, type and size directly in a database.
This small addition for the HTML5 File Upload made the whole difference! What could be easier than simply drag and drop files for the fastest upload ever? And this is exactly what the DMXzone Dropzone offered and even more. This super-smart Dreamweaver extension speaks the website's native language and you can put your custom messages along with a client side image preview for the ultimate user experience.
