Adobe Revamps Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements
Increased portability and new editing tools to add a variety of image and video effects
Adobe on Monday released its latest version of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements, lower-cost version of the company's photo- and video-editing suites geared toward hobbyists. Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 have been overhauled to incorporate new mobile capabilities and a revamped editing experience, the company said in a statement.
Both editing suites get increased portability with new Mobile Albums, which allows video and photos to be shared across myriad mobile and desktop devices thanks to integration of Revel -- Adobe's cloud photo storage solution. Both also sport Auto Smart Tone, intelligent software that learns a user's editing preferences and serves up in single-click adjustments.
