iPhone 4S Goes on Sale

iPhone 4S finally goes on sale at Apple stores all across the U.S. and in six other countries. Keenen Thompson, who is being sponsored by the iPhone reseller Gazelle, is first in line to buy the iPhone 4S at the Fifth Avenue store in New York City. He has been waiting in line since September 26.

With preorders for the device already hitting records, the iPhone 4S is expected to be a hot seller. For the first time in the U.S., a brand new iPhone will go on sale for not one, but three, wireless operators. AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel will be selling the new iPhone 4S.
