Send HTML Mail Extension 1.0 Beta 4 Support

This extension takes as a separate ASP page as content for the mail. Very cool to generate mails with dynamic database content.

The used asp file should contain all the code and layout. This extension combines that page with all images/css stuff and generates a mail from it - on the fly then - the asp is excuted on the server.

NOTE: This extension has been discontinued. Please use the final release of Smart Mailer ASP

Features

• Option for selecting - single recipient or multiple recipients. if you select multiple that the recordset where the TO field is in will be looped and for every record a mail will be send!
• Option for when to send the mail - directly (when page load) or on form submit (this when the user fills in the form on the same page and submits it)
• Next to CDO, the extension now also fully supports JMail (another free send mail component, see: http://tech.dimac.net/)
• The imported ASP page, that is used as mail body template, is now saved as a separated SSI include file. The name of the this include file is the same as the original template file but prefixed with "incSM_"  Also when this file is created, a alert is being shown that you shouldn't forget the upload this file also.
• Optimized code - all images, css, js files that are used in your  template asp file - are on-the-fly (runtime), AUTO INCLUDED with the mail body!
• Works for both CDO and JMail!

Known Problems

• There are some problems with NS6 and not seeing the inline images. This is due in incapability of both CDO and JMail (they are not sending the right code) and Netscape being a pain in the ass as usual and not accepting the standards. If someone know how to solve the problem - I will be more that happy to incorporate the solution.
