Author Profiles
Sherry London is the author of a number of books for Coriolis, including Illustrator 9 f/x and Design, Painter 6 f/x and Design (with Rhoda Grossman) and Photoshop 5 In Depth (with David Xenakis). She also teaches online courses in Photoshop and Flash for Education to Go (www.ed2go.com) Dan London is a Web designer creating both HTML and Flash-based sites. He is also a singer/songwriter. Bill Sanders has written over 30 books in computer technology and programs, with 20 focusing on computer programming. He has been using Flash since Flash 3. Bill has also been very involved in academics. Currently, he serves as a Faculty Fellow in Technology at the University of Hartford and conducts Flash workshops on the east coast. Bill Turner has been working in Flash since it was FutureSplash by FutureWave (1995). His work has been recognized by FutureWave and Macromedia in their Cutting Edge Gallery. Bill has contributed chapters to the Flash 4 Bible and the Flash 5 Bible, as well as a chapter on advanced Web animation to HTML Publishing for Netscape. He has spoken at numerous Flash workshops demonstrating his cartoon skills, and created the show "Weber," which has been receiving acclaim from film festivals in Brazil, New York, and Los Angeles. James Robertson has been using Flash since version 3 and helped take ActionScript to a new level with games he helped develop. James´ background includes coding and programming languages and is well versed in HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, Java, and ASP. He also wrote a "Real3D" engine in Flash, followed by his first game "Pong," and has written the first Isometric 3D game in Flash. Richard Bazley has worked for the past decade as a Supervising Animator at three of the major animation studios: Sullivan Bluth Studios, Walt Disney Feature Animation, and Warner Bros. He has worked as lead animator in such films as "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," "Hercules," "Pocahontas," and the critically acclaimed "The Iron Giant."
