Pdf outputs weird characters

When I try to export a table or recordset to PDF file, the file contains weird characters.

What is causing this?

The pdf output of the universal data exporter does not support utf-8. If you want to get rid of the weird characters in your pdf, change the encoding of your page. You can do this by right clicking the design view in DreamWeaver, selecting Page Properties and changing the encoding under Title / Encoding to, for instance, Central European (ISO).
